We expect children to dress in an appropriate manner for school and we ask parents to assist us in maintaining standards in this aspect of school life.

Ties, sun hats, coloured House T-Shirts and St Andrew's School sweatshirts are available from school. All other items are available from local shops.

Details of the uniform are as follows:

White blouse or Shirt

Navy Blue Skirt

Navy (St Andrew's) sweatshirt or cardigan

School tie (optional)

Summer dress (Blue/White check)

Dark Grey, Navy Blue or Black trousers

Black shoes

Please note that shoes should avoid extremes of fashion - such shoes as trainers and high heels are not considered suitable footwear for school.

Additional items of school clothing:

• An old shirt or overall for Art and Craft

• P.E. Kit: School T-Shirt in house colour; Navy Blue or white shorts; black daps (again, not trainers!) Tracksuit bottoms for winter

• Swimming Costume and cap

• Sun hats (school house colour or plain single colour)

As storage space is limited we ask you to provide your child with a "dap bag" that can be hung on a peg, rather than a "holdall style" bag. If you have queries over any items of uniform please do not hesitate to contact the school. Larger sizes of black daps are sometimes hard to find, in which cases white daps with laces are a suitable alternative.
